Work is now well underway on our National Lottery Heritage Fund project, exploring the fascinating legacy of the Morgan family and their connections to Newport and the surrounding area.

Our Thursday groups at The Riverfront have started exploring the people, places, stories and history connected to the Morgans, using a mixture of research, art and creativity to bring that heritage to life.

We’ve already had some fantastic work produced, including this brilliant artwork by Katrina, inspired by the project.

And there’s still room to get involved!

If you fancy doing something creative, researching local history, discovering more about Newport’s past, or simply meeting people and trying something different, you’re very welcome to join us.
